Oásis Biosistema was founded in 2022 by Alberto Tassi.
It all started as a hobby. He’s loved aquariums and fish since childhood, but after moving to Portugal, it became harder to pursue. When he bought his first home with a small backyard, he built a little pond to keep fish again. It started small but grew over time.
Back then, he worked for a large automotive company. After helping a colleague with a renovation, he encouraged him to start his own business. Tassi admitted his real dream was to create a landscaping and pond-building company. With his friend’s encouragement, Tassi took the leap—and Oásis Biosistema was born.
Inspired by the oasis in his backyard, he wanted to help others create their own. He began studying ponds, fish, plants, and ecosystem essentials. Today, they don’t just create ponds; they are a full team and offer a full range of landscaping services, from natural pools to decks, vertical gardens, and more.
